Before Yui can call Yukino to ask if she has the key, Hachiman goes to the staffroom to ask Shizuka for the key - only to learn that Yukino has alreadt picked up the key. When the two of them reach the room, Hachiman finds the door to be locked. She quietly expresses the hope that the Service Club will continue for long enough for her to be able to leave the blanket in the room. As the two of them walk to the Service Club, Hachiman asks Yui about the lap blanket that she is carrying. Hachiman's flashback ends, and he runs into Yui after leaving class. She ends by saying that Hachiman is likely the same as her, and that he also cannot get drunk.
However, she insists that she cannot truly get drunk because she is always vigilant of what others are thinking and her surroundings, a statement that speaks to Haruno's various façades beyond which few except for Hachiman can see. Hachiman leaves the two of them but runs into Haruno outside the apartment building.Īs the two of them walk and as Haruno clings onto Hachiman, Hachiman repeatedly tells Haruno that she is drunk. As Haruno leaves to go to the convenience store, Yui eagerly offers to help Yukino pack her things for moving. Haruno is surprised by this request but agrees to help Yukino, before asking Yukino if she can move in to her apartment while Yukino is living at the family home. Hachiman has an extended flashback to the events of two nights before, as Haruno greets him, Yukino, and Yui at the entrance to Yukino's apartment.Īs Haruno reclines on the couch drinking champagne, Yukino declares that she wishes to move home to sort things out with her family. As Hachiman purchases a MAX Coffee from a vending machine next to Sobu High School, he runs into Hayato, who overtly asks about Komachi's entrance exams while covertly asking about how things are going between Hachiman and Yukino.
